I'm not one hundred percent sure why I selected the image I did, it just grabbed my attention (probably because the picture is taken in Manhattan and I like the feeling I got from the picture).Because the image is of a cityscape and because it's in black and white (and because this class is about environmental art), the obvious choice, to me, seemed to be to incorporate as much nature/color as possible into the image (or to "reincorporate"). I couldn't think about what I was going to do, beforehand, to any great extent because the idea was to do this project, in class, within alimited time frame.
